A high volume of traffic crashed the ticketing website for Bruce Springsteen’s Aug. 30 performance at the Harley-Davidson 105th anniversary celebration.

The surge in site traffic brought the system to a halt nearly 30 minutes after tickets went on sale on April 5 at 9 a.m. EDT. A small number of tickets were processed before the site went down.

Harley-Davidson has postponed the sale of the remaining tickets until April 14 at 9 a.m. to give the ticketing contractor time to resolve the technical issues.

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band headline two days of concerts, which will also include acts such as Peter Frampton, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Puddle of Mudd and ZZ Top. Tickets are US$40 and are available only to those who have purchased tickets to the Harley-Davidson 105th Anniversary Celebration.
