What do you think, was he going over backwards or did he have a lapse in judgement and intentionally step off the back of his bike mid wheelie?  We bet he never does that again! Remember, in this situation, a small tap on the rear brake can be your friend.

    Fresh Calamari…

    • ubermick

      Ahh, grated squid.

  • Matt O

At least he had a helmet, his face could’ve looked like his arm

    • Jason M.

      Dress for the crash…

      • Larry Kahn

        Better to sweat than bleed.

      • Proheli

Dress for the slide, not the ride.

    • Larry Kahn

If no helmet his brains would have been splattered all over the road.

    • hawkrider88

For sure. Doubt he’ll do it again.

  • sgray44444

Perfect wheelie: look cool to other squids
Aborted wheelie: look stupid to everybody

    • Bladeknight

True! A fail wheelie also may put other biker/driver in danger.

  • David S

What is wrong with people who ride and dress like that, let alone do wheelie’s at high speed? Oh to be young I guess…..

  • Dootin

Learning curve is different for all people. Just put a little bactine on that, it shouldn’t take longer than a few months to heal.

  • Sentinel

Pretty obvious that he was going over backwards and bailed. Very likely a “Cluster B’ type btw.

    • jz78817

“Cluster B” describes nearly every guy between the ages of 14 to 23.

  • Mahatma

    He should call Biaggi

    • Gruf Rude

Obscure reference to Max’s incredible past-vertical wheelie in the opening minutes of “Faster”?

  • Larry Kahn

If you wheelie and no one sees it is it still cool?

  • allworld

Well for the riders who take risks beyond the ordinary, ATGATT.

  • sgray44444

    too much yut ughhh.

  • There’s a reason they’re called squids.

  • Richard Oja

Hold my beer and watch this.

  • Glenn

I am surprised that he had on boots and not flip flops. Flip flops, cut off jeans and tank top seem to be dress of today’s young and stupid biker generation.

  • Bill Dennehy

    Here’s Your Sign…

He was on the passenger footpegs so didn’t even have that option.

    • Gruf Rude

Now we know why real stunters have a thumb brake.

  • Patriot159

To quote Bugs Bunny: “What a Maroon!”

    • PaddingtonPoohBear

      “What in im-bessile!”

  • elgar

Hard to fix ‘dumbassery’…good reminder of the ‘obvious’ for the rest of us.

    • Gruf Rude

Based on his ‘hurtin’ comment, I suspect that last lesson may have ‘rubbed off’ some of the dumb.

      • Pip Bip

        don’t bet on it.

  • Gruf Rude

Hope he’s still on his parents’ insurance, ’cause that looks like a trip to the burn ward…

  • deltainny

Was he wearing boots? I can’t tell for sure. It looks like the rubber sole caught the pavement and flipped him. At least he was wearing leather. No, he wasn’t? They say dress for the crash, not the wheelie, right?
I go so far as to have the rubber soles on new boots removed and replaced with leather. Leather slides, rubber doesn’t.

    • jz78817

it doesn’t matter what your soles are made from in a case like this. you do what he did at that speed, you’re going to faceplant.

      • deltainny

Nope. That’s why we wear leathers. The right grade and ‘tan’ of good quality leather slides on pavement. I didn’t mean he would have ‘surfed’ on his soles, but where the edge of his shoe caught the pavement, he flipped. Leather sacrifices itself for us.

  • Paul Kenyon

Me? I would have been wearing protective gear. God, I’m such a wus! I shouldn’t even be allowed to own a motorcycle.

  • hawkrider88

    ATGATT, how about… ANY!? Crap.
In the second half your can hear his buddy say, “that is so rad”….doesn’t look as rad on the porch though.

  • Brian Mckinney

    Darwinism at its best.

  • Steve Chubb

Don’t know why he is wearing a crash helmet. Obviously got nothing inside his skull worth saving!!!

  • jz78817

why did he step off his bike? because he’s a stupid f***ing squid who thinks impressing other stupid f***ing squids is important.

    dipsh*t got what he deserved.

    • Pip Bip

      congrats you win the internet.
      i totally agree with you.
      🙂
