This bike was to be my 'forever' bike but time and the reality of age on the body have forced acceptance that my VTX 1300 is just too much motorcycle for my current condition.
As my 'forever' bike, I may have gone overboard on maintenance; as I have changed oil and filter
EVERY 1000miles after the initial 400 mile service). Yes, I have changed Honda GN4 oil and K&N filter 34 times!!Shaft drive fluid gets changed out every other oil and filter service.
I have recently (within the last6-9 months) done the following: New Metzler 888 tires. Four NGK iridium spark plugs. Engine Ice coolant. Led lights replacing old halogen. Added 75 watts of bright white led lights separately switched and fused and identified under seat. Red led replacing rear
halogen and two red led strips. New regulator/rectifier. New K&N air filter. New Yuasa battery.Compressor driven Air Horn plus a new in box spare air horn. Fluorescent wheel rim tape.
Air Hawk comfort seat. New in boxes: Progressive fork springs. New in box front wheel and bearing kit. New steering head bearing kit. Honda fork oil. These items were purchased with the 50,000 mile service in mind. (Forever bikes demand crazy level of maintenance)Bike comes with two wind shields (National Cycle) two passenger seats.
Memphis Shades lowers. Waterproof leather luggage that can be connected to the Kuriyakan backrest. Tank and rear fender black leather bib with removable storage pouch. Shop manual, battery trickle charger, and bike cover included. I also have one new brown leather jacket (XL) and one barely used black leather cruiser style jacket and a new in box black Scorpion EXO cruiser style helmet size large and a new silver (matches bike) modular helmet. Gauntlet gloves and short cuff leather and textile gloves in new condition size 2xl. Also available with purchase of this bike: white/silver Speed and Strength fully armored mesh jacket size XL. Very nice-slightly heavy.
Also have boxes with many motorcycle parts and accessories and catalogs too numerous to write out here. Also many, many maintenance records and receipts. So, way more maintenance than required to ensure that this bike would be in excellent condition for my last bike. Unfortunately, reality has made the decision to sell for me. My loss could be your gain. From the pictures you can see that this is like no other Honda VTX1300. Many more pictures are available-this website would not accept them all.
I put my heart and soul into taking care of and building this bike. Hopefully, you will enjoy it as much or more than I have.
