Best Motorcycle LED Turn Signals

Most motorcycle manufacturers don’t seem to put much consideration into the design of their turn signals, and many of the ones who do aren’t allowed to use them on their US models; thankfully the aftermarket has both problems covered. Available in a series of designs, aftermarket signals can be sleek for streetfighters, classic for cruisers, or even discreet for sportbikes. Now, with the proliferation of LEDs, signals can be incredibly slim and incredibly bright. All with little draw on the electrical system. As I’ve progressed my way through this 790 Duke project, I’ve mostly concentrated on parts that improve the KTM’s function or provide some sort of protection. Since I’m typically a function over form kinda guy, this is to be expected. However, there are some features of the Duke that, despite their utility, I thought needed replacing. For example, the stock mirrors, while performing their intended job quite well, broke up the angular lines of the bike and looked like rubber flippers mounted on the handlebar. And don’t get me started on the stock turn signals!

MO Tested: Smart Turn System Self-Canceling Signals

For years, I’ve claimed that self-canceling turn signals were the answer to a question I never asked. I’d yet to experience an automated system that didn’t introduce one or more problems or adaptations I had to make in order to utilize turn signals the way I preferred to use them. Some systems turned the signals off too soon while others kept them on for an eternity, but both forced me to take my eyes off the road to check if the signals were on or off before and after a turn.
