Fill Tank Guard $ overflowing when filling up Danny Prosser, WA
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 09, 2011Love the bike with one exception, the fill guard in the filler neck on the gas tank. I haven't found a gas pump yet that pumps slow enough to keep the filler neck from over flowing. Even in short small gentle squezes on the pump handle, it foams up and overflows onto the tank and I have to wash off ... the tank every time I add gas. To have the guard removed at the shop is between $450-%550. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what did you do to fix it? Contact me at dnsanders@charter.net

Back to riding after 10 years....Second bike ever!
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 01, 2010If you are new to riding you will love this bike. The power and weight distribution are just right for a beginner yet more than adequate for most seasoned riders. I purchased mine new in July and have 1000 miles on it. The more I ride it, the more I want to ride it. Was torn between it and the ... vulcan 900 custome se - I have not second guessed my decision to go with the 950!!

Great Bike!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 13, 2010I bought the bike in Oct. of last year. Looked and compared with the Kaw. Vulcan 900, Sportster 1200, but settled for the 950 and I made the right choice. The lines on this bike are great. Handling and performance are second to none and the looks aren't bad either. I've already amassed over 4100 ... mi. to date. But that's why I bought it, to ride. I can't seem to quit buying chrome accessories for it though. lol

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 17, 2010I shopped for months comparing models and chose the V Star 950 over the Honda Shadow and others and I am so glad I did. This bike is great performing, comfortable to ride (seat could be softer), smooth shifting and has great lines for a long sleek and stylish look.

I Love IT!
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 07, 2010Ive had severly diffrent bikes threw the years. All are great, fun to ride. I never had a brand new one. Once had a V Star with only 50 mile, but it was 3 years old when I bought the bike. I wonted a bike that did not throttle out at 60mph that I was comfortiable with.I am 5'6'' 150lbs and once ... I rode the V Star 950, this is IT, It's New and all the bike I will ever need I had to put a stock windsheld on it to keep the wind from blowing me off. The bike sound and runs great, stock ,and I plan on keeping it that way. I love every thing about the bike and have had No problem at all. If you wont the perfit bike for my size this is the one. Great BIke !!
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 07, 2009Have owned this bike for three months now. Previously had a 500cc Honda. This bike, for the money, can't be beat. It is a fantastic handleing bike, plenty of torque, nimble in the turns and overall puts a smile on your face when ever you take it out. Looked at them all, settled for this one and glad ... I did. Could buy three of these for the price of the Harleys. Check it out........

Great ride and value.
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 17, 2009Great fun bike, handles very well and feels light, good looking too. The only negative I have is the very poor stock saddle which becomes uncomfortable very quickly (
