Performance, Reliability and Value
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 02, 2018Rode Harleys(Road King), Kawasaki(Vulcan Classic),now this Road Star. This bike delivers with a comfortable ride, handles very well for a big cruiser. I spend my time riding it,not repairing it. Excellent bang for the buck.

2009 Roadstar Silverado S
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 21, 2011The bike rides and handles well. The biggest complaint I had was that the saddlebags leak water like they were left open. Definitely a flaw in design. On the good side, the dealer did install a custom rubber seal and put silicone around the locking mechanism. So far this seems to be working. ... Other than that, it's a great bike. Could have a little more power, but in there defense, I did trade in a Kawasaki 1400 with 160hp. I also needed to replace the stock seat with a Mustang for comfort.

09 yamaha roadstar silverado s
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 10, 2011I have just gotten back in the saddle after a ten year layoff. I decided not to spend the amount of money I had previously spent with my Harley Road King but I did not want to give up too much size or power. This bike was perfect for what I was looking for. I have been pleased with the bike although ... I will eventually return to an American made bike. I have had the bike one year and have put 6,900 miles on it including a round trip from Alabama to Key West. I am leaving in a week for another trip to Key West.

Disappointed
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 08, 2010Purchased a new 2009 Roadstar Silverado S on September 17, 2010. Ever since new it has a wind whistle that the dealer cannot find. The pipes are discolouring, the fuel gauge stopped working and the clutch cable was not assembled properly and is worn through. At present the bike is not safe to drive ... and it is only 6 weeks old. I wish I had my old bike, it was two years old and all it needed was old changes.
