Almost 1700 cc cruiser that handles near sport bike like
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 06, 2016I've had my 07 Warrior for a while and have had zero problems. I take it on long hauls and short trips and it is comfortable, powerful, and nimble. This is the best cruiser I've ever owned and I've owned several over the years. Cannot recommend enough. Whoever decided to rank this bike at only 54 ... of 108 certainly jumped the gun. Now that quick release windshields, sissy bars, and bags are available for this it absolutely fills my need for all styles of riding.

Everything you ever wanted and a low price tag too
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 22, 2015Here's the best review I've found for this machine:

I disagree with them about the stock seat. I rode 3 hours and liked it. They make a stink about the handlebards but everyone should ... mod their bike to suit them and for

Highly recommend
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 22, 2015I drove this bike 3 hours yesterday, only stopping for gas near the end of the trip. It got 44mpg. That's partial interstate and partial back roads. The tank is 4 gallons (3.96 to be exact per the owner's manual). The low fuel light comes on when about 0.8 gallons are remaining and at that point ... a low fuel tripometer is displayed on the digital display and it starts counting UP from 0.0. So it seems you get about 25 - 30 miles after low fuel light comes on. Nice. It runs on regular gas 87 octane. Nice. I also like that the blinkers auto go off after about 500 feet of rolling. With very few modifications this bike fits me like a glove. I flew in an F-15 fighter once while serving as an Avionics Technician so I appreciate a machine that gets the heart thumping. This one does just that whether from a stop or from 75mph...plenty of roll on. I cruised at 70mph at 2.5kRPMs. This bike handles like a smaller bike when it comes to turning. It was steady like a rock when being passed on interstate and when on two lane highways, the oncoming trucks were barely noticeable. They sell everything you'd want to mod this with so no worries there. Amazon.com has a ton. What else...standard LED taillight. Low maintenance. Easy maintenance. I rolled through hundreds of specs to find the bike for me. It was this one or the V-Rod. I heard the VRod is heavy to turn. This one is easy. They both have power. I don't know that the VRod has the torque I want but I know this one does. I put 400 lbs on this bike and it hardly raises an additional RPM to get to the same speed. Dual front disc 298mm four piston brakes and beefy rear and you stop when you want. They are not integrated. There is not an option for ABS but I'm not sure there is an option for that on a 2007 VRod either. I do know that I spent HALF on this bike and it looks very, very cool. I love Harley's. I love all well made machines. This one is well made. I don't care what riding buddies think. If the machine I'm on affects their opinion of me, they are not someone I'm going to befriend. None the less, this bike looks fantastic and is made really well. The front fork travel range is over 5" and the rear is over 4". The stock seat is wide and comfy and even the stock passenger pillion is wide, plush, and comfy. Like I said, probably just need to get handlebar risers or short reach bars to fit your body. It's not made for long distance riding but I was very comfortable on my 3hr trip. Your going to be filling up every 120 miles when the low fuel comes on. This is not a ding. This bike is made for really comfortable and really awesome short distance riding. However quick release locking saddlebags, quick release windscreens, and quick release backrests - driver and passenger - and all that stuff is available if you wanted. I don't know how much I'll be riding but I do know I wanted power, looks, comfort, and reliability. With this bike I got all that and relatively easy maintenance at a great price. I will enjoy being a weekend warrior on my 2007 Warrior.

love it
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 25, 2011The Yamaha Roadstar Warrior is not a sport nor cruiser but a combination of the two. It's not as fast as a sport and doesn't have the features of a cruiser. But that is just what I want. It handles better thyan the HD Vrod and just a tiny bit slower but with the power commander and Vance H pipes ... it is really fast. I have had no issues whatsoever with anything. I like to work on it because most things are easy to get to.I wore out a stock tire in the rear in 5000 miles and I don't do burnouts. Put a pirelli on it now. I also have a 1976 sportster which i am working on.
