Thanks Yamaha
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 08, 2015Bought a 2007 Yamaha Roadliner S 2 wees ago and was love at first ride.Love everything this bike has to offer. Yamaha engineers did an outstanding job on their bikes. Can't wait for the weather to get better so I can ride. I previously own a 2009 Yamaha Silverado and love that bike too.

Great Bike, Great Value
By (I am an Owner) on Jun 18, 2012Compared to everything out there in the cruiser class, the Roadliner is more than competitive in power, handling, braking, and design. Compared this to a HD Road King Classic and found the bike was a better ride at much less.
I bought mine used (in 2012)with less than 5K miles on ... it. When comparing head to head to the HD Road King:
- Smoother and much more power
- The Roadliner had much more off the line power for a cruiser
- Handling far superior.. the bike handles as I would expect from a smaller bike
- Braking is amazing. Dual front discs provide great stopping power
No disrespect intended to HD or any of the other cruisers, but dollar for dollar the Roadliner simply delivers more ride for the money.

Great bike! Just my size.
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 04, 2010Ok...This is three years after the fact but worth pointing out. I'm 6'3" 255lbs. Not a small man in any sense of the word small. I have looked all over for a bike that was classy, timeless, and big enough for me. Voila! The Roadliner.
It has plenty of punch for a man my size with ... all of the nimble handling that any experienced rider would crave. I'm in the southern Oregon region and am constantly cruising up hills and mountains with my ole lady in tow. This rig has never let me down. Torque to spare in every occasion. Plus, the windy roads in the Cascade range are a joy on this bike. SMOOTH is an understatement.
Not much to complain about. I will upgrade the saddle to a Corbin model. Throw on one of luggage solutions and call it a wrap. Bike to bagger in a heartbeat without losing any of the class and style.
Simply put...I love this bike.

motor rattle driving me crazy!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 13, 2009I baught a 2005 road star 1700 last year 2008. I thought it was a great bike I noticed a loud rattle in the motor. I brought it back to the dealer I got it from to see if there was something wrong with the motor.they told me that it was supposed to sound like that. After bringing it back three more ... times decided to trade it off. The dealer gave me my money back minus the 400 dollars I paid for the windshield and for 1500.dollars they had a 2007 roadliner which is a very nice bike. I have about 2000 miles on this one and it has the same motor rattle. They claim it is because of the push rods or something like that.Is anybody else having this problem. Don't know if I can trust it for a long ride. called yamaha manufacturer not any help.

What a Great Bike!
By (I am an Owner) on May 23, 2009I just bought a new 2007 Star Roadliner S. What a fantastic bike, I traded in a 2005 Road Star that was customized from front to back. I love the Roadliner, when I first saw them I wasn't sure about the looks but I guess they grew on me. I had been contemplating buying a Harley Davidson but they ... seem to be so over priced for what you get and I'm not impressed with the some of the people who buy HD's. I guess they are trying to be the toughies they weren't in high school. I'm glad I got the Star, another great product from the people at Yamaha, well engineered from front to back! I have to get some miles on it before I start modifying this one :)
Thanks for a great bike.

Pure Bliss
By (I am an Owner) on May 08, 2009Let just inform you that I never even road a motorcycle prior to this other that temporarily stealing my sons 2006 Roadliner and i'm 53. I was hooked, I went out and acquired my learners permit took the Pa driving course which is an excellent program and have been riding my own 2007 Roadliner S ever ... since and enjoying every moment. Of all the bikes I have sat on (and prior to buying it was a lot)the Roadliner and the Raider just felt right. With all that your getting for the money Harley needs to watch out and start lowering their prices or they will lose out in the end.The look, feel and comfort in riding this bike is amazing..

Awesome!
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 11, 2009This bike is outstanding. Plenty of power with a ton of looks. The roadliner turns and handles like a much smaller bike. This bike out of the factory is awesome. The handlebars reach out to you not leaving you leaning forward, but able to sit back and enjoy the road. Very worth the price.
