Hot throttle
By (I am an Owner)Read MoreI have just purchased a new 2008 990 Adventure.Took it off road and was surprised at the throttle response.Does anyone know of a way to calm it down?When you inadvertantly tweak the throttle going over a rough surface it can get out of shape due to the fierce throttle response.Other than that,a seriously ... impressive motorcycle.

Great bike
By (I am an Owner)Read MoreRevy motor. Linear power. Great Mid range torque. Feels like a race everytime you get on it, city or country... which is a good or bad thing depending on your needs. Very confident off road and more than capable on. Just get a new seat and you're good to go. Also, try and remember it's 500 motorcycle ... when you're doing 75-100 miles per hour off road. :)
