2004 Kawasaki ZZR600 / ZX6E Sport Touring Bike
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Jun 10, 2015I bought my 2004 Kawasaki ZZR600e new and as of June 1 2015 I have logged over 34,000 miles. I've been doing demo rides at Dayton Bike Week for 11 years riding lots of different motorcycles and I have yet to find a motorcycle that I would rather have. The 2004 ZZR600e is as quick and more comfortable ... then all that I've ridden. The ZZR 600 also gets a great consistent fuel economy of around 55MPG. I've done regular synthetic oil changes at 3000 mile intervals, tune-ups at 15,000 mile intervals and I have had zero mechanical issues. I like the analog gauges, including a fuel gauge, but I added a digital voltage gauge. There is great wind protection, and even the popup luggage clips. My only minor complaints are that it's a bit heavier then some 600cc bikes and that there is a fair share of heat from the cowling vents.. But it is a great middle weight sport touring bike that thinks it's a bigger bike.
