Best 600 for the Buck
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 29, 2008This bike is excellent all around. It shifts quickly with very little shifter movement. Really light weight at 354lbs dry. Power is second to NONE in the 600cc class because of the extra 36ccs, and torque kicks you in your seat right from cruising RPMs up to the redline. Brakes are excellent ... - they stop on a dime when you need them too. Excellent instruments are simple and give tonnes of information (odometer, RPM, speed, stopwatch, trip, and time). Definately worth checking out. I've smoked several 600RRs no problem.

Best Of the Best
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 17, 2008this bike has treated me so well. handles like a dream, good power, good suspension (alittle hard), and the mean agressive looks. Very reliable bike. adjusted the valves once and i change the oil regulary and she starts up and runs perfect. the bike also does really well to mods. a PCIII and a full ... system really wakes this beast up. i've owned acouple other 600's and this is by far my favorite for this year. plus, they hold there value really well. props to Kawasaki for building such a good bike.

Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R for the win!
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 17, 2008I am a owner of a 2004 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and I could not be happier. I love my bike. This is a well made bike and is one of a kind. The overall design of the bike is one of a kind. It does not compare to any of its competitors of it's time. The head lights are sleek and devilishly eye catching. ... The height and stance is open for all heights and sizes of riders. The weight of 354 lbs is equal and fair and easy for majority of riders to become comfortable with. The fairings are simple yet different to any other. The rear cowl/seat is a real decent size, not too big like a suzuki or too small like a yamaha. The driver's seat is in proportional size yet could be swapped for something with a bit more comfort. The taillights are simple but distinctive just like any others.
The engine is one of a kind with the enhanced extra 36cc's. The 636 ranks among the top of its competitors all because of the engine. The 636 provides 125 horsepower and 50 lbs of torque with a red line starting at around 17,500-18,000rpm. The powerband is continuously giving at certain rpms but does not feel like you are losing power after every shift. The extra 36cc's really help provide that extra kick after shifting gears. The clutch is smooth and grabs each gear each and every time. The exhaust can is a bit long and not quite a high mount exhaust but there are plenty of aftermarket exhausts that are made to your liking. And with a gas tank capacity of 4.8 gallons, it won't hurt your wallet nor will it seem like you have to fill constantly.
The Ninja ZX-6R is a great bike to own. I have no regrets and love it. There is nothing else that can replace it.
