It's been a popular bike here at MO. Yes, the Yamaha FZ-1 has a strong following among MO readers, much like the Aprilia Tuono and Triumph Speed Triple. In the past, the big fizzer ruled the horsepower roost, but lagged behind those other bikes when it came to chassis and suspension. Yamaha says this new FZ-1 is lighter stiffer and much more adept at carving up a set of twisties. Are they right? We sent Gabe to the new FZ-1's Press Intro and he says...
