Do I need a Laser/Radar detector?

The self-proclaimed motorcycle prophet Kpaul just got nabbed by Smokey and now he's looking for our help... So what say you, fellow MOrons? Any advice?OK, it finally happened. KPaul got his first speeding ticket. (The cop was really nice about it cutting me a break. )I know it is hard to believe since many of you MOrons think KPaul doesn't rev his Ninja past 8000 rpm. My question is the investment in a Laser and Radar detector worth it? I have heard most laser detectors are worthless cause by the time it goes off you are done for. However, I heard that most cops go use Radar because of the cost and ease of use. How many of MOrons use detectors? What are the best brands? Or should I be content to obey all traffic laws? I wonder how many sport bike riders obey all speed limits.
