SX Stars on Kimmel Live

The following release is from Kawasaki:

The popularity of Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki's talented young rider James Stewart continues to reach new heights.

He has graced the pages of some of the nation's most credible publications, like Sports Illustrated, ESPN The Magazine and Teen People. Now the 17-year-old from Haines City, Fla., will make his national television debut next Wednesday, April 16, when he appears on ABC's late night program, the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show.

Stewart will visit with the show's host and namesake, Jimmy Kimmel, along with Ricky Carmichael. The two will be interviewed by Kimmel and co-host Deion Sanders prior to giving the viewers a demonstration on a scaled-down Supercross track that will be built in a side parking lot. Clear Channel and its track building crew from DirtWurx will construct the track, which will consist of one triple jump, a rhythm section and a set of whoops. Stewart's on-air personality and flair on the track should provide the viewers a look into the sport of Supercross.

With some luck and fine showing this weekend in Dallas, Stewart may very well show up to the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show as the recently crowned 125 Western Region Supercross champion. Stewart, who heads into Dallas with a 31-point lead over Travis Preston, can secure the title with a third place finish at Texas Stadium.
