Here’s a quick 50-second teaser vid for the upcoming film “Venom,” in which Ducati North America CEO Jason Chinnock explains how the Scrambler reflects the lead character, Eddie, played by Tom Hardy. Does the bike wag the film or vice versa? The bike influences the stunts for sure, says Chinnock. “The bike helps move the action sequences along.” We’ll buy that. Ever since Mike Vaughn made them buy three Kawasaki Ninja 900s, movies have sold a lot of motorcycles.

Actually, there should be some pretty good moto stunts in this one, courtesy of Robbie Maddison and Jimmy Roberts – pretty serious professionals.

“Venom” is out October 5.

Didn’t know Ducati made an i4 engined Scrambler. Sounds pretty good.... 🙄

When do they ever get motorcycle sounds right in movies? Watched Oceans Eight last night. Twin with 270 degree crank (Trumpy) sounded like an inline 4.

Who is Mike Vaughn, and why does he make people buy motorcycles?
