KTM and Brabus Collab to Continue With 1400 R Models
Limited edition models based on 1390 Super Duke R expected for 2025
KTM and tuning house Brabus have been working together for several years now, producing limited edition 1300 R models based on the 1290 Super Duke R. With KTM now introducing a 1390 Super Duke R EVO, it makes sense if the collaboration continues with the new platform.
Thanks to some new trademark filings submitted in Europe, Motorcycle.com can confirm that a number of Brabus 1400 R models are in the works. The German tuning company recently filed to trademark three potential model names: “Brabus 1400 R Rocket”, “Brabus 1400 R Tailor Made”, and “Brabus 1400 R Signature”.
Brabus is best known for tuning cars, and it has previously used the Rocket, Tailor Made and Signature names for non-motorcycle projects There have been several Brabus Rockets, based on Mercedes-Benz and Porsche cars, as well as a Brabus Tailor Made edition Smart ForTwo. Brabus has also made several Signature Edition boats.
The trademark filings don’t offer any clues to what the Brabus 1400 R models would look like, but we can expect styling cues to follow previous models, like the 2024 Brabus 1300 R Masterpiece Edition pictured below, but with the 1390 Super Duke R’s engine and chassis. At the very least, we can likely expect a similar round headlight instead of the 1390’s more aggressive lights.
Since the Brabus already has a 1300 R for 2024, we can likely expect the 1400 R models to follow for 2025.

If that photo is any indication just HOW much more superior the new 1400 Brabus bike will be to your pedestrian, every-day, ho-hum KTM 1390 Superduke R Evo, please direct your eyes to this Brabus bike's ability to stand upright by itself, without the need of a rider or kickstand.....BREATHTAKING!!(ly expensive)! ;)
Unlike the KTM version, that Brabus is beautiful.
