Quick question: How many naked people do you see in this picture?

This eye-catching image is part of a new ad campaign promoting the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows which kicks off its 13-stop cross-country tour Nov. 2-4 in Atlanta, Ga.

Created by San Diego’s i.d.e.a. advertising agency, the “Human Motorcycles” ad campaign features a number of models contorting themselves into the shapes of different motorcycles. The models, including motorsports TV personality Erin Bates are dressed in nothing but body paint designed by artist Trina Merry to create the illusion of a motorcycle.

The campaign produced three photos, the sportbike image pictured above, a dirt bike and a cruiser. Each picture took the better part of a day to produce, requiring the work of eight air brushers and two massage therapists helping the dancer, yoga instructor and contortionist models maintain their poses for up to 2 minutes at a time.

A bloodhound when it comes to tracking information on new motorcycles, if there's a new model on the horizon, you'll probably hear about it from him first.
