First Sport Bike

I have owned many bikes from motocross to large cruisers. Just amazing the handling and power this machine has. Getting back on a monoshock also has it's advantages. I thought by design the ride would be uncomfortable but not at all for me but the passenger finds it a little different compared to th...e sofabed my midnight venture had on it lol! Only thing I find hard getting use to at first here is with my size 12 foot getting use to the shifter. All in all tho I enjoy the ride. Insurance cost also is good. Read Full Review

hell of a ride

The 2009 R6 is by far my favorite bike. It is built for comfort and speed. all though it doesn't have much power in the bottom end, once it hits the power band around 10,000 RPM it instantly snaps to attention and roars with a high pitch scream that will dominate any opposers. Generally the power of... the top end would make beginners scarce of taking those harsh turns but once gripped to the asphault this bike sticks like glue.

The best feature that I have found is the new and much approved look. This bike screams speed and the huge intercooler tha is visibly shown behind the front tire shows that this bike is ment to be on a track.

I would suggest this bike to any enthusiast no matter if you are just a casual rider or an adrenaline junky like myself. Read Full Review

love at a first sight hav happened twice in my life. once with a pretty gal and once wif yamaha R6. it was 2008 when i first saw the actual yamaha R6 2009 in black. It hav been the best looking sportbike in its class as well as the bigger cc. i only manage to get it by last year december.

it have g...iven so much fun experiance.
i had only manage to reached 110mil in the country side and 84mil in the city.
i am looking forward to reached it's top speed.
The only problem of this bike for me is the seat height and the heat of the machine. This is not the fault of the bike at all because i live in medan indonesia which is a summer country, and the road is has never been smooth here. i am only 1.7M tall.
so, if you are looking to get the new R6. i would say never think twice. go............get guys. Read Full Review

The best upgrade

I bought my first bike last summer and it was a Kawasaki Ninja 250, and it was an excellent bike for a beginner, but after I learned how to ride, and wanted to go faster than 110, I needed something with more power.
