great bike

Absolutely Cutting Edge Performance

I have had my 08 special edition R6 for 1700 miles now, 400 or so on the track and I must say that this bike is absolutely awesome. It is an racetrack scalpel. Pick your line and it goes there, anywhere on the track. The motor is amazing and a ton of fun. The suspension is also top notch for pro...duction bikes. My only complaints would be lack of adjustability of the angle of the front brake lever and slightly less than perfect braking feel. Otherwise, the best sportbike I have owned to date. Best 600 supersport!

All I can say is this is probably the best 600 supersport available. I have ridden them all my fav is by far the R6 hands down.YeS there are other 600s with more power and better looks in others opinions- not mine, but if you want a close to track ready 600cc race bike from the factory the closest ...thing to that in my opinion is the R6. I would not reccomend this or any other 600 supersport for that matter as a first bike. I will reccomend a great 1st bike and that would be the yamaha FZ6 or fazer. Read Full Review
