A lot of thought must have gone into this bike, the coolest thing of all though is that at night, when you flick high beam on it projects a beam of light shaped like a heart onto the road. Love my vespa

Just passed the 750 mark and took it in for its first service. I love this scooter. Handles the highway with no problem and keeps up with city traffic NO PROBLEM. Compliments and stares are a common occurence on this scooter. handles great, ABS can get me from 60mph to a dead stop with no problem. g...reat on gas and plenty of ways to haul groceries and other cargo.

As far as the hefty price tag, I knew I was paying extra for the chrome and vintage look and I am okay with that. Read Full Review

I own the Bentley of Scooters

Just bought my Vespa gtv250 a week ago. Since then I have put 375 miles on it and i drive it instead of the car every chance I get.



I am 6'3" 300 lbs and this thing gets to speeds of 40-50 mph with NO problem. Getting it from 60-75 mph takes a little extra time so be careful when getting on... the highway (especially in Detroit, MI where I live) There are plenty of alternate routes in my area where you can travel at 55 mph (the cruising speed on this machine in my opinion)

It's hard, even for the bikers, to deny how cool this bike is. It has to be the most beautiful scooter I have ever seen and it often draws a crowd whenever I park it.

At night, the headlights produce better visibility than my Chevy Blazer (and the suspension is better than both of my cars). Night rides on this thing are incredible.

You really get what you pay for with this scooter. a week ago I was just a guy who wanted a cool scooter...this thing has made me appreciate the world of scooting and I will testify to the quality, durability and superior design that Vespa brings to the table.

Simply the Best

I've owned other scooters, and while all were fun, reliable, gas-misers, the GTV-250 is beyond compare. The retro styling is beautiful, and difficult to find in a 250cc scooter. It accelerates quickly, handles wonderfully, rides smoothly and comfortably, and is an absolute joy to ride. I did my r...esearch before purchasing, got an amazing deal from a new Vespa dealer, and never regretted spending the extra money for a fine Italian scooter. The free two-year warranty with road-side assistance has been a nice perk, but I've never had a problem with it. If you simply want cheap transportation, buy something else. STALLS OUT AGAIN AND AGAIN

DO NOT BUY A GTV 250. From the first 2 weeks of ownership, mine has been stalling out incessantly. I have brought it in for service 3 times but it has still not been fixed.
