Tomos Velo 150cc
By (I am an Owner) on Jan 20, 2011After a full season [2010] of driving and 4000km [2500mi] Tomos is doing great. I did couple of longer rides, around 250km, and everything is working smoothly, not a slightest problem. It is quite fast, I have tested it and it can easily rich over 100km/h. Really highly recommendable scooter.
Good ... job Tomos!

Fun and zippy
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 28, 2009I bought the Velo in August 09 and have been riding it everday since. I now have 525 miles on it and am still not bored with it or have any regrets. I can easily do 60mph although after a while the vibration will make your hands go tingly. A good maintained speed is at 50mph. I went on a road trip ... along the lake (83miles)and noticed that with a fairly brisk wind the scooter was a bit jerky on the roads but overall still handled good. From a full tank of gas to empty I can get about 140 miles (easy to push on empty). The frame feels pretty solid and the shocks aren't too bad either altough if you hit some rough railroad tracks you'll definitely feel it. Cornering is good at speeds of less than 30mph, anything over that and you'll hit the kickstand. Overall this is a good scooter for anyone that wants too zip around town.
