2006 Pegasus
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 29, 2009At first look, the 2006 Pegasus was a sharpie. On the road, it was even sharper, with amazing stability and speed for a smaller size engine scooter. It kept up with engines twice its size and the 16" wheels were responsible for the beautiful handling both in and out of traffic.
There ... were no problems starting it up, and the engine held up admirably after long rides at high speeds.
The seat was a bit uncomfortable for a 5'2" lady like me, so I had an auto upholsterer it cut down a bit at the front and on the sides to make it easier to keep control while manuevering in and out of the garage, parking spaces, etc.
The first 1,500 miles were an absolute joy, but then, almost on cue at exactly 1,501, the engine began to miss, and it felt as though the fuel was not being properly delivered to the engine. A thorough review from a local dealer discovered a problem with the fuel intake, which evidently is not uncommon with the Chinese scooter engines. However, since that problem was eliminated, the bike runs like a champ.
I would recommend the Pegasus for easy, around-town riding, and although I had it at top speed for half and hour to 45 minutes at a time, the engine really is at its best at 70% of its max. You can't beat it off the line for a bike its size.

Qlink 150
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 15, 2008Went between the Kymco People and the Qlink Pegasus. I found a great dealer here in northeast Pa. I am very happy with the overall ride. The liquid-cooled engine is quiet and powerful. The disc brakes and the lighting make for a safe fun ride. I like the 16" wheels. They are stable and predictable ... at higher speeds.
