CBR Mediocrity

All my life i have driven Kawi's, and have loved them but wanted a change. I decided on an 06 cbr600rr and ive been a bit disappointed. This is my third bike, and big surprize its the best bike i have owned. I am filled with such delight everytime i punch the gas, the sound from my carbon fiber Jardine underseat exhaust is like a starved angry lion within reach of its next prey . Sure the 1000's will take it in a strait line, but no...t by much, and once they have to turn those boats the 600 will gladly say "buh bye". The quality is never cut on a Honda and i find everything ergonomic as always with the Japanese brand. Over 8000 rpm it is an acceleration beast, it takes no time at all before your going 130 from 75. I love the confident feeling of the bike it gives the rider, like even if you throw it in a situation that gets a little hairy; it will keep you in line. The accents of gold from the forks and suspension are pure love, and the mix of the sleek/sharp contours of the body are ultra sexy and never become outdated.
I have no issues with the seat comfort, if i wanted to sit on a couch i would have stayed home, the riding position is aggressive because? It's an Agressive Bike! But its not that bad at all unless you are used to Harleys of Touring bikes, ive been bred on Sportbikes. I love the way the downpipe looks peering under the opening in the fairing it hints at the motoGp roots its bloodline and history are derived.
The gauges are simple and versitile, at night they glow a great tangerine color, and when you start her up it gives a very modern meter check for the rider. Great bike, sweet dreams.. Read Full Review

Great bike alot of fun!

I have owned this bike since august of 2007. I have added alot of upgrades and it got even funner after it came out on the dyno with 115 hp with 44ft lbs torque engine work is coming in the future. I will never get rid of this bike! Read Full Review

First Bike Fail

I dont know if i got a lemon or something but i bought this bike brand new and it has been nothing but problems, i have had to replaced the battery several times, also the fork seals leak and i have also had a coolant leak. The windshield vibrates and makes a buzzing noise around 5000 rpm. The last ...thing i have a problem with is the power, it is probably the slowest 600 sportbike out there. Almost no low end and wont hit the power til 9000 rpm. I do like the looks though, and the seating position (though the seat is harder than a rock). Anyway i give it 3 out of ten, i should have waited for the 2007 honda. Awesome bike. Read Full Review
