  • Pushing 200,000 kms and as good as new.
By  (I am an Owner) on Sep 24, 2020

Every highway in British Columbia and a whole bunch in Washington, Oregon and northern California...without a doubt, the best solo rider TOURING bike on the planet.

    - excellent weather protection with an oversized CBailey windshield

    - smoooooth power

    - comfort

    - huge gas ...

    - big bags with the addition of a trunk

    - quiet Jetsen cut gear whine

    - sport bike styling with all the amenities of a tourer

    - add cruise control and your done

Buy a GWing if you're ancient. Buy a Beemer if you crave statues. Buy a Connie if you want to die. Buy an FJR if you want a sport bike. Buy a Ducati or Triumph if you're a mechanic.

Or get an ST1300 and go see the world and it's corners.

  • Love it!
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 20, 2012

I was told by on ol' biker back in 109 that there is hardly any difference at all between the Connie, the ST1300, of the FRJ... it just depends which one makes you feel sexy. I bought an '06 ST when I got back from a 12 days ride, mostly through East Tn. & West N.C. She had 5400 miles and was spotless. ...

SWEET! Sadly; it's hard to find any dealers that allow test rides. I took a chance on what that ol' biker told me about the 09' ST he was on - in East Tn. sportin' a Texas temp tag. He was 2k into that bike and was still smiling.

He was in his early 60's & part of a 7 man group.
