Its a Blast

Come from the 53 year old male I can say that the Ruckus is a great little scooter. I have 500 miles on mine now and have enjoyed every minute of it. I live in a small town and everything is within riding distance but I have also ridden it on the highway and have kept up with the 40mph traffic. Don'...t regret the purchase one bit. Bring Tha' Ruckus.

Drop it like it's hot!

Forget getting a big-bike.. Honda's Ruckus is where it's at. Spending 1/10th the price of a CBR or Interceptor will get you a styling little ride that's got enough kick to whip around city corners.

starter kickstand

A nut came loose from the starter kickstand and ran through the engine destroying the engine. The dealer said "they've never seen this happen before." Still, they charged me $700 + to rebuild the engine. We have another Rukus that they said to bring in and have checked for a loose nut o...n the starter kickstand. horrible scooter but Ill hang on to it.

The honda ruckus is different and has an appealing (to some people), cool, bare bones style.



But in my opinion, thats all it really has going for it.



Whats wrong with it:

only a single seater

no storage

weak drum brakes

underpowered compared to other 50cc's

very bad suspension



Its a go...od scooter if you have time and $$ to do upgrades. otherwise, there are many other scooters that are in the same price range that are faster and more comfortable right out of the box.

Ill keep mine because I think its cool. but its not the best daily driver. Ill leave it at home and ride my zuma instead.
