Love the Looks and the Ride
By (I am a Writer) on May 22, 2012I have been riding for about 20 yrs or so and it has always been a Gold Wing. However when I retired from the Army 4 years ago I gave myself a present. I took a 1300 out and the salesman said that when I got back I would want the 1800 and I so Glad he was right. The great looks, Power and the handling ... of this bike is GREAT. My neighbor says I have everything but the kitchen on it. I still need one more thing, A set of Pipes. Just for a little more sound for one "Bad Ass Bike" BE SAFE AND ENJOY THE RIDE!

What a Bike
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 25, 2008This is the most exciting bike that I have ever ridden. It has hugh amounts of power and preformance. still get great gas milage and the best looking bike on the market. Switched to a Mustang seat and also a power commander for a little extra power. This thing is smooth and very responsive in ... all gears. Just got back from the Dragon's Tail and had no problems at all.

Much better bike in person
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 12, 2008Looking at these bike online doesn't do it justice. I am a first timer and I bought the vtx 1800c and it's beautiful. It felt like fun without being dangerous like the sportbike. I don't know how to describe to you how much I enjoy it. I have four other cars, one being a new sport car, so I only ... ride for fun. I don't buy into a theory that you have to start out with a smaller and much cheaper bike. I am 40 yr old now, I won't have many more chance to ride and enjoyed other bikes. At 40, I am not sure what await me at the next corner. Also, I have a much better respect for life, life's excesses and their consequences, family and the need to be safe...but not to the point of paralysis. I ride carefully, mostly during the day and with light traffic. I watch my speed and privately enjoy the experience with this beautiful bike. It's an experience that you won't soon forget...although do as the first motorcycle dealer warn: "Have a lot of respect for the power of this machine...and Have Fun."

Geat bike
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 29, 2008Love the power, and the bike...Needed a few mods, changed out seat to Mustang, put on Cobra pipes, added a few chrome items, one nice ride.
