Ultra Harley - WOW!!!

The wife and I researched for 6 months including test rides on an Ultra and a Honda Goldwing. Overall, the Goldwing had a tad smoother passenger ride but the Ultra won out because it was also smooth but looked and sounded like a motorcycle. As we waited for my Pearl Blue Ultra to arrive, we saw a ...limited "Root Beer" colored Ultra...BINGO...now it's mine. On my 3rd turn after leaving the dealer, I couldn't believe the handling...it was great. Much easier to turn than my former Honda VTX 1300. the ride is super, the ABS brakes work and all the knobs, dials, switches, buttons and controls are easily reached. I believe I made the right choice for my North Carolina vacation ride in July. Oh yeah, the wife did say she would have killed me if I didn't buy that Root Beer Ultra. I like her!!! Read Full Review

Great Bike, Smooth Glide Ride

Yeah, it vibrates at stops, i'ts a Harley, it's supposeed to. However, when you get her out on the road, she glides. Very smooth, handles well. It also maneuvers well on low speed cone courses. Plenty of storage space..great commute bike. I ride 27 miles each way to work and back everyday. Only time...s I don't ride is when it rains. 2009 Ultra Classic

I purchased a new 2009 Ultra Classic Feb 7th. I traded in a 2003 Ultra and all I can say is WOW what a difference. My wife riding in the back seat loves it as well over the older bike. What a bike!

I've returned to motorcycling after 35 years when I sold my Honda 550 Four. Once you get rolling you tend to forget just how heavy this bike really is. I handles almost as easily as the Buell Blast that I trained on in the MSF course. When I ride my wife on the back, once we get moving, I don't fee...l much difference in the handling from when I ride alone. HD obviously put a lot of thought in the Ultra Classic. I have almost 5000 miles on it and love it. I would recommend this bike to anyone looking for a great touring bike. I wouldn't Compare the HD Ultra to a Gold Wing--they are two different bikes. You have to decide if you want tradional or high tech. The Harley does what it's designed to do very well indeed. Read Full Review

Setting the Standard

I picked up my 09 FLHTCU in November and have been riding it off and on through the Missouri winter. 3200 miles later this is the best touring bike I have had bar none.
