Gr8 Bike

I was looking into riding again and I have always wanted a Harley since I was 12 yrs old.I answered this ad in the local paper and went to look at the bike.I had a wad of cash in my pocket not knowing what the price might b.The owner took off the cover and here sat a flawless teal and siver paint jo...b Sportster ready 2 go.He allowed me 2 take the bike 4 a test ride seeming that I was leaving my 35g Infinity n his drive way.I warmed her up and the D&D slip ons were like music to me.He had put about 4g worth of goodies on the bike and it really was beautiful.I took the bike 2 the interstate and opened it up and the pipes were talking like the best music u had ever heard on volume 9 on a 10 scale.This bike rode gr8,sounded gr8 and looked gr8.I got lost trying 2 find his house in a very large subdivision.I finally made it back and he knew what was up cause I couldn't get the smile off my face.I have had the bike now 4 3yrs and it only had 1 problem and I git that fixed.The 2004 Sportster Custom is 1 gr8 motorcycle. Rubbish build quality

My 2004 Sportster has had the following problems:

1. Paint falling off rear mudguard.

2. Front fork sliders corroded

3. Paint falling off belt guard

4. Bubling of chrome on mirrors

5. All chrome has fallen off rear wheel

6. Front wheel rim rusty

7. Left side panel wont stay on (fixed with cab...le ties coz the origial HD clips don't work)
8. Exhaust drags on the road in even slow right hand corners.
9. No locking petrol cap as standard. The cheapest chinese bikes have them as standard.
10. Carb icing is a problem in cold weather.
