Lady Rider's like Heritage's too!

I took the motorcycle safety course at age 52 and purchased a 2008 900cc Kawasaki Vulcan. I rode it for a few months, and decided to buy a Harley. The 2011 Heritage had a familiar look and feel to my Vulcan, so I bought it for the comfort level that it gave me. I love this bike! I bought the Psy...chadelic Purple and immediately had it customized with some amazing hot pink artwork to let everyone know that it is a womens bike now. We just got back from Sturgis (1000 miles each way) It rode like a champion beside my husband's Ultra Screamin Eagle. My plan is to add loud pipes at some point, to give it that sexy Harley sound, which I admit turns me on :). This bike may not have the power of my son's Ninja bike, but that's not my style. It suit's me perfectly, and I would recommend it to any woman, large or small. Remember, the weight only matter's when you are standing still. Go for it ladies! Read Full Review

Cruiser with CAPITAL C

I have 2011 Heritage that I have put 3500 miles on, I also ride Triumph and needed a bigger heavier bike for longer rides and freeways. Heritage is a perfect blend of cruiser and touring able to do both very well....but...this is not a SPORT CRUISER. it will not get u 0-60 quickly, but it fast enoug...h to get out in front of traffic at red light, and it will Cruise all day at 70+. The look of the bike is the very best in its class in my opinion, this is what a Cruise is suppose to look like. This is my 1st "Cruiser" and I now understand the meaning and why Harely invented this catagory..this bike comands respect on the road and I never get tired of the sound of the motor. It handles good and stops on a dime fdor being so heavy and big. I rolled the handle bars back alittle and would consider changing handle bars...but..have owned enough bikes to know...just ride the bike stock for awhile..and all the things u think u want to change, seem to not matter. Best Bike Ever!

I know everyone thinks their bike is the "best bike ever," and for me my 2011 Heritage is!



I've owned and ridden motorcycles since I was a teenager, never owned an H-D previously though one was always on "the list." Bought mine at age 49 and was extremely happy with it with o...nly a few exceptions.

The stock pipes didn't do it for me, and the bike ran very lean out of the factory due to EPA regs resulting in less power and more engine heat than expected.

I swapped out the stock pipes for a set of Vance and Hines, had a set of 255 cams installed along with a SE tuner and Stage 1 breather, had her dyno'd at the dealer and now she gives me everything I was looking for in an HD.

Power is there, takes off like a rocket, runs strong on the hiway, never runs out of air if you know what I mean. The pipes are a little loud but the rumble is there when needed and lets people know you are on the road with them so they don't arbitrarily plow you down.

All in all I can see myself riding this bike for many years to come, makes me happy just to look at it parked in the garage! Read Full Review

riding a classic

I have 2011 classic i have rode many metrics over the past 25 years till i brought this new in 2011.

I've rode honda's, suzuki's and yamaha's

and they were dependable but the classic is by far the best of both worlds.

If you just wast to spend the day riding local or if you want to losd up and ta...ke off on 600 mile day trip, great bike love riding it, got over 18,000 miles on it so I do ride. Read Full Review
