Bought my 2005 Fatboy new
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 14, 2021My Fatboy has been perfect for me. Only problem was the float in the gas tank was sticking giving a false read. Got it fixed. I'm a cruiser only. At 69 I don't ride as much as when I first got it. It's been maintained & kept clean. I don't see anything out there I'd rather have. I love the simplicity. ... No gauges, no oil cooler, no windshield, just nice chrome & paint.

Nice bike
By (I am an Owner) on Oct 03, 2016I bought this bike about a month ago. Ive probably rode about 800 miles on it so far. I have had no problems with leaks whatsoever. It seems like its time for new shocks on this bike, but it does have 50,000 miles on it. Besides normal wear and tear, the bike seem pretty solid and am very happy with ... it.

used harleys
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 03, 2016i have a 05 fatboy that has been a pleasure since i purchased in 2015 it was taken very well care of cleaned often been to sturgis twice it had 19.000 miles when i bought it a used bike is like a used car unless you look them over very carefully you will get taken and you bought you got it i would ... never buy one that has big bore kits installed by who knows who and that tells me with all that extra performance additions that it could have possibly been run very hard so i stay away from them ,people should take a little time when buying a used harley i know because it happened to me also

Not Even Back Surgery Will Keep Me Off My FatBoy!!!!
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 09, 2009I am 32' I Have Been Riding Just About All My Life. One day while working in Constuction when i was 29. I lost my Balance while working on the roof of a two story building and fell the full two floors. I Broke my back and Had to have four disks Fused. I thought i was done with more then just ... riding. After I Recoverd "about 18 Months Later" i wanted so bad to see if it would be painful to ride again. I Took a Ride around my town for 45mins or so. When i got home and stepped of my bike i could not even stand up straight. The pain Had me Taking 2 Vicodins and Laying on my bed. It was a long time due so for me it was worth it :) But i did not do that again.
As i sat in my garage One Day Stareing at my bike' I wondered if the comfort would be any different with different Bars. I Found A great buy on ebay For Ape Hangers. I Got them on and it made a world of difference. I saw that when I rode with apes it Made me ride With a straight back' No More Slowching which was the prob with my stock bars. I have since added a few more things to help my back like a Better seat and Crash Bars to put my feet up as I cruise down the inerstate.
I wanted to share my story for those that may be in my situation or been curious. I now Ride Pain free Every Weekend....
