Roger Hayden will use Kevin Schwantzs number 34 for American Hondas Moto2 entry at the Indianapolis Grand Prix.

Hayden will be the first Grand Prix motorcycle racer to use the number 34 since Schwantz retired in 1995. The International Motorcycling Federation retired the number in honor of Schwantz whose 25 career wins puts him second behind Eddie Lawson among all American racers.

Roger Hayden will ride the #34 American Honda Moriwaki MD600 in the Indianapolis Moto2 race.

Schwantz is also managing American Honda s Moto2 team at the Indianapolis Grand Prix, Aug. 27-29. The team will raise funds for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation through the sale of #34 branded apparel. For more information, visit http://www.rideforkids.org/.
