Why not? Nobody's going to tear you down on the street--and people who've ridden the old 636 say its 2mm bigger bores result in a snappier throttle you can really feel.
What we're looking at are ZX's 6R and 6RR--both of which get fuel injection, radial front brake calipers riding a 41mm inverted Kayaba fork, racier ergonomics, and a redesigned, more compact head...
