Ricky Carmichael's Kawasaki on EBay

Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki and its star motocross rider RickyCarmichael have teamed up with Chevrolet and Students Against ViolenceEverywhere (S.A.V.E.) to auction off a special package on eBay.

An autographed 2001 Kawasaki KX125 motocross bike and the opportunity to meet Carmichael are part of a "Ricky Carmichael experience" beingauctioned off to raise money for the student program.

The package was donated to S.A.V.E. under the auspices of ChevyR.O.C.K., an initiative dedicated to young people. "R.O.C.K." stands for Reaching Out to Communities and Kids.

The auction package also includes two VIP AMA EA Sports U.S. Supercross Seating Passes, a photo opportunity with Ricky Carmichael, the chance to meet members of Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki, and a racingpit/behind the scenes tour. The experience will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2001, at the Silverdome in Pontiac, Michigan.

Chevy Trucks is the title sponsor of Kawasaki's professionalmotocross program, Team Chevy Trucks Kawasaki, which has accumulated 31 AMA National Championships during its 27-year tenure in the sport of motocross.

Interested bidders can log on to the site right here. Bidding on the auction will close on Monday, March 26.

One hundred percent of the auction proceeds will go to S.A.V.E., aprogram created by students that promotes safe schools and communities by educating students about the effects and consequences of violence. S.A.V.E. has nearly 80,000 members in 33 states.
