Local motorcycle dealers are reporting a significant increase in sales. If it costs $3.50 for a gallon of gas and your car takes 15 gallons to fill up, well, you're paying more than $50 for a tank of gas; and you're probably only getting anywhere from 10 to 30 miles to the gallon.

But, if you rode a motorcycle or a scooter, you could fill up for less than ten dollars and each gallon will take you anywhere from 50 to 100 miles.
