Following the ruling by BSB that 1200cc will be allowed in the British Superbike class next year, WSBK looks ready to announce that it will follow suit.
Read about it here:
This paves the way for Ducati's as yet unreleased 1098R and KTM's RC8 superbike, rumored to be finally ready for production this year, to enter competition. It is assured that the twins will have to surrender all of their current hardware allowances in comparision with the 1000cc four-cylinder machines, and will have a currently undetermined but higher minimum weight. The twins may also be required to run stock conrods and have a higher homologation number of production bikes.
This should be a live one. Go at it.
