The Ride for Kids charitable motorcycling program recently announced that this past year, more than 12,000 motorcyclists participated in 18 Ride for Kids events held nationwide. The result of this two-wheeled benevolence is more than $2.4 million to be used to help find the cause and cure of pediatric brain tumors.

If you missed the Ride for Kids held in your area, fear not. A 2001 calendar is in place with the first ride kicking off March 18 in San Bernadino, California. There are 20 rides scheduled next year, with the last to take place in Dunnellon, Florida on November 4.
