Honda Recalls ATVs
ATV owners have discovered faults with the Honda Rancher TRX350 and the Honda TRX400EX which could result in serious injury or death.
"Consumers should stop using these ATVs immediately and call their local Honda dealer to schedule a free inspection, and repair if needed," Honda spokesperson Pete TerHorst said.
TerHorst said a mounting bracket on the front suspension of the Rancher TRX350 models may be welded improperly to the frame. The possible breaking of the mount could result in the driver losing steering control and crashing. So far, Honda has received 98 reports of improper welds. No injuries or incidents have been reported.

The Honda TRX400EX models have brake pads that may have been improperly assembled and could result in brake failure leading to possible injury and death. Of the 53 consumers experiencing improper brake pad assembly, two have suffered injuries, including a sprained wrist and bruising.
