MV Agusta F3 Teased
F4 gets a 600cc sibling
A smaller version of the MV Agusta F4 has been in development for several years. An influx of cash when Harley-Davidson bought the legendary Italian marquee gave the resources to R&D the middleweight sportbike until development stalled as Harley-Davidson then searched for a buyer for the Italian brand.
Details are still scarce, but MV Agusta says the new sportbike will have an engine displacement of 600cc instead of the rumored 675cc. Photos reveal a steel-trellis frame likely paired to aluminum castings in the footpeg area, as well as a single-sided swingarm. Radial-mount brakes are used up front on the inverted fork, and a large chunk of the exhaust’s muffler appears to be underneath the engine.
“After years of continuous design and development along with ongoing research to create the most beautiful and technologically advanced 600cc bike of the world, the first pictures of the ‘real’ MV AGUSTA F3 are revealed,” read the official statement from MV Agusta.
More details will be released when the bike is officially shown to the public at the Milan show on November 2.
