The off-road racing champion and star of the film “On Any Sunday” will defy the CPSIA by selling vehicles that are banned due to the lead content in several of their parts. The protest, named “Kids Love 2 Ride”, will begin at the Malcolm Smith Motorsports dealership in Riverside, Calif. on March 19 at 6 a.m. PST.
Other high-profile industry celebrities including racers Jeff Ward, Jeremy McGrath, Glen Helen Raceway owner Bud Feldkamp and motorsport designer Troy Lee have agreed to attend and purchase banned vehicles for their own children and grandchildren.
Meanwhile, the Amercan Motorcyclist Association has released a pubic service announcement regading the CPSIA.
