MV Agusta F4 top prize in The Dark Knight contest
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jun. 12, 2008
MV Agusta and chocolate manufacturer The Hershey Company are partnering for a contest to promote the upcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight.

Specially marked packages of Hershey chocolate products will contain game pieces for the Find the Bat-Signal and Win contest. The grand prize is a specially designed Batman-themed MV Agusta F4 valued at US$35,000.

Designed by esteemed MV Agusta designer Massimo Tamburini, the Dark Knight F4 features special graphics from the film including a large bat symbol along the sides.

In the 1989 Batman film, Jack Nicholson asks "where does he get those wonderful toys?" Nearly two decades later, we learn the answer: Italy.
MV Agusta is thrilled to be partnering with The Hershey Company, says Matthew Stutzman, general manager for MV Agusta. To commemorate the film, we made sure to offer the very best motorcycle possible and worked closely with the filmmakers to make the special edition F4 a celebration of the film itself. No doubt, the winner will be pleased with winning one of the finest motorcycles ever created. The F4 is definitely a bike Bruce Wayne would love.

The Dark Knight opens in theaters July 18. The highly anticipated follow-up to the 2005 film Batman Begins stars Christian Bale reprising his role as billionaire Bruce Wayne and his alter-ego, Batman, and the late Heath Ledger as the Joker.

The Find the Bat-Signal and Win contest runs until Dec. 31, 2008.
