H-D Tri-Glide to lead Obamas parade

Trike to head inaugural procession

A Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide Ultra Classic will lead the police escort for Barack Obamas inaugural parade.

A one-off police concept version of Harley-Davidsons new three-wheeler will head the police procession from the Capitol to the White House on Inauguration Day, Jan. 20.

Lieutenant Scott Fear, Commander of the U.S. Park Police Motorcycle Unit will ride the Tri-Glide at the head of the motorcycle escorts traditional V formation.

Lt. Scott Fear will ride the Harley-Davidson Tri-Glide at the front of the motorcycle escort's V formation.
The Tri-Glide will be followed by a fleet of District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department bikes which include 12 new FLHTP Electra Glides with sidecars supplied by Harley-Davidson of Frederick. The Frederick, Md. dealership has supplied motorcycles for the last five inaugural parades.
