Ducati North America welcomes Hayden

Kentucky Kid to be honored at SoCal dealership

Ducati North America announced it will host a welcome bash for the Ducati Marlboro Teams newest MotoGP rider, Nicky Hayden, on Jan. 23.

The event will bring Ducatisti and motorcycle racing enthusiasts together for a chance to welcome Ducatis first-ever American rider to the MotoGP team. The event will be held at Southern California Ducatis newly redesigned dealership and include a silent charity auction benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

We are thrilled to have an American rider on the Ducati Marlboro MotoGP Team and look forward to giving him a proper U.S. welcome to the Ducati family,

Nicky Hayden will be the first American to race for Ducati's MotoGP team.
says Michael Lock, chief executive officer of Ducati North America. Nicky is a very talented World Champion and racing fans will look forward to cheering him on.

Doors open at 7:30 PM where guests will have a chance to take part in a Q&A session with Hayden while bidding on items during the silent auction. Some of the highlighted auction items include a Roland Sands custom art piece, Ducati helmet from Troy Lee, Oakley Sunglasses, limited edition Nicky Hayden Tissot watch, Casey Stoner signed helmet and a Hayden signed Lavazza Espresso Machine

Additionally, a fashion show will begin at 9 pm to showcase Ducatis clothing line.
