Capirossi and Suzuki MotoGP bike at IOMTT
Capirossi and his MotoGP bike will be part of the festivities as Suzuki celebrates 50 years of international racing.
Two-time TT winner Cameron Donald will ride the GSV-R800, the same machine capirossi rode for his 300th career Grand Prix race at the 2010 season opener in Qatar. The GSV-R800 will be the first MotoGP bike to lap the mountain course. The demonstration lap will follow the Senior TT race on June 11.
Capirossi will ride a Suzuki GSX-R1000 as part of the anniversary parade lap of Suzuki motorcycles, also on June 11.

Many fans will be thrilled at the chance of seeing a MotoGP bike on the Mountain Course for the first time and we also look forward to welcoming Loris Capirossi to the Isle of Man for his first experience of the TT.
Suzuki made its international racing debut in 1960 on the Isle of Man with three 125cc Colleda RT60 motorcycles. Toshio Matsumoto was the highest placing Suzuki rider, finishing 15th followed by Michio Ichino in 16th. American Ray Fay finished 18th for Suzuki as a substitute rider for Mitsuo Itoh who was injured in a crash during training.
Suzuki would return to the Isle of Man in 1961 with a 125cc and a 250cc RV61. Suzuki would win its first Isle of Man TT race in 1962 with Ernst Degner winning in the 50cc Ultra-lightweight TT class.
