Buell Sponsors Track Day Program
Buell sponsors track day program
Experienced instructors Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill will conduct instructional sessions for intermediate and advanced riders for no additional charge beyond event fees.
Buell could not have partnered with a better organization than Sportbike Track Time to bring to life the incredible experience of track riding, says Gene Ostrom, Buell director of strategic sales and marketing. And with the addition of our intermediate and advanced riding instructors Nick Ienatsch and Ken Hill, riders taking advantage of their free service will undoubtedly come away with a greater appreciation of sport riding and how Buell motorcycles enhance that experience.
Ienatsch races a Buell 1125R in Colorado and writes for Cycle World magazine. Ienatsch was the lead instructor at Freddie Spencers riding school for eleven years.
The presence of Buell and the additional training program offered by Nick and Ken represent an outstanding opportunity and value for Sportbike Track Time riders, say Sportbiek Track Time owners Monte Lutz and Bonnie Strawser in a release. We are confident this program will be well received and appreciate Buells commitment to improving the track day experience of our participants.
The Buell/Sportbike Track Time track days will be held at Carolina Motorsports Park in Kershaw, S.C., April 25-26; Barber Motorsports Park in Leeds, Ala., May 8-9; Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis., June 8-9, and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course in Lexington, Ohio, July 20-21. The Road America and Mid-Ohio track days each follow an AMA Pro Racing race weekend. Buell will also offer limited on-track demo rides of its motorcycles, including the 1125R.
