AMA: 2009 Infineon test day two results
The factory Yamaha rider was faster than any other American Superbike racer on day one of the April 20-21 test, and trimmed over half a second off his time on day two to again lead all riders.
Bostroms familiarity with the track may have given him an advantage.
American Superbike series leader Mat Mladin also showed some improvement, running 0.68 seconds faster on his second day on the 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000. Mladin wasnt the fastest Gixxer on day two however, as he was edged out by his Rockstar Makita Suzuki teammate Blake Young.
Attack Kawasakis Jamie Hacking posted the fastest Daytona Sportbike time for the second day in a row though he was only 0.1 seconds faster on day two. Graves Yamahas Josh Herrin was second fastest while Steve Rapp was third for Bazzaz Yamaha.
