Honda Racing UK has created a one-off custom CB1000R for the 2018 Glemseck 101 in Leonberg, Germany, with none other than five-time 500cc GP World Champion Mick Doohan tabbed to ride it in the event’s Sprint International drag race.

The Glemseck CB1000R comes with a number of upgrades and a special paint scheme in Honda Racing red, white and blue with golden highlights.

Upgrades include the Öhlins fork and rear shock from a CBR1000RR SP and Brembo brakes. Akrapovic provided the full exhaust system including the four gold colored pipes flowing from the engine.

The extended swingarm was custom made for the Glemseck CB1000R, extending the wheelbase for the Sprint Internationa 1/8th-mile drag race. The clutch is also bespoke, just for the Glemseck CB.

Awesome bike. I love it! Ride it on the street in this form and throw the stock swingarm for the track.
