Right behind news that MV Agusta is upping its game in North America comes two new one-off specials from the Italian boutique manufacturer: the Ballistic Trident and Dragster Blackout.

The Ballistic Trident is the more outrageous of the two, paying home to vintage road racing with a modern iteration of a dustbin fairing. The Ballistic Trident was commissioned by MV Agusta Taiwan to Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts ( roughcrafts.com), workshop with headquarters in Taipei. The Ballistic Trident will be on display at the Motor Bike Expo at booth 12D (Hall 1), under the Rough Crafts banner.

The Dragster Blackout is way more subtle, but no less beautiful. A collaboration between the Varese factory and Valter Moto Components ( valtermoto.com) – a manufacturer of high-end accessories specializing in racing components and official partner to the MV Agusta Reparto Corse racing team – the Blackout is outfitted with Valter Moto Components: clip-on racing handlebars, footpegs, levers, oil tanks, fuel filler cap, number plate hanger and the indicators. combined

The Blackout is also outfitted with combined a circular seven-inch full led headlight with a new aluminum trim with an integrated, low mounted dashboard. A fork mounted, full-colour 4.3-inch HD screen for rear vision, connected to an integrated waterproof camera flanked by indicators under the tail. The Blackout will also be at the Motor Bike Expo on the Valter Moto Components exhibition (10Z stand, Hall 6).
