Bridgestone Corporation has unveiled the BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23, a new street-use sports radial motorcycle tire set to be available in January 2024.

The introduction of the BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 marks a continuation of Bridgestone's established BATTLAX range, which commemorated its 40th year in 2023. The new model showcases various enhancements over its predecessor, ensuring optimal performance during sporty asphalt rides. Notably, the tire offers increased grip performance in both dry and wet conditions according to, and it has been shown to yield quicker lap times compared to the BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S22 says Bridgestone.

Utilizing a newly formulated compound in its tread design, Bridgestone tells us, the BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 ensures superior road contact, especially at maximum lean angle, thereby maximizing grip during cornering. We're told this advancement allows riders to elevate their performance without compromising the tire's durability.

Additionally, the tire's design incorporates the Pulse Groove Technology, aimed at improved stability and handling. This design concept enhances grip and precision even in challenging road conditions or wet weather.

I didn't realize the S22 came out in January 2019, I guess because my 2021 BMW came with S21's, I felt like the S22 was a brand new update when I put it on a year ago. Bridgestone released so much technical information when updating from 21 to 22, hope they do the same for 22 to 23.

If S23 is coming in 2024, what will be the proper psi for the weight of a Hayabusa. For example I use 120/70/17, 32 psi front and 200/50/17, 34 psi rear, with the new Battlax, which will be the recommended pressure.
