The new Navigator featuring seamless BMW Cloud integration makes navigating on a motorcycle a joy.

BMW Motorrad has unveiled the new ConnectedRide Navigator, designed to provide riders with improved navigation capabilities. This system is compatible with all BMW motorcycles built from 2014 onwards, provided they are equipped with a multicontroller and have navigation preparation in place, either as part of the original BMW Motorrad Accessories or retrofitted.

The key features of the ConnectedRide Navigator include the following:

Synchronization with BMW Motorrad App: Users can sync all routes, recordings, and route planning through their personal BMW ID. This data is accessible at any time and from anywhere through the BMW Motorrad app. The Navigator also ensures that maps and functions remain up to date, thanks to its internet connectivity and update capabilities.

Large, High-Brightness Display: The Navigator features a 5.5-inch touchscreen display designed for optimal readability, even in bright sunlight. It seamlessly integrates with BMW Motorrad TFT screens and offers a user experience that aligns with the motorcycle's overall design. The Navigator is charged via the BMW on-board network or through the included USB-C cable.

Update Capabilities: Similar to smartphone updates, the Navigator can receive updates for functions and maps directly through BMW Motorrad systems. These updates are indicated to the user and can be installed directly on the Navigator, requiring only an online data connection, either through WLAN or a customer-installed SIM card.

Real-Time Traffic Information: Users can access real-time traffic information by connecting the Navigator to a WiFi hotspot or through their customer-installed SIM card. This feature ensures that riders stay informed while on the road.

MyBMW Cloud Integration: The Navigator is integrated with MyBMW Cloud, allowing users to log in with their MyBMW account. This connection enables the synchronization of planned routes, completed rides, and more. Users can plan routes on various devices and have them instantly accessible on all registered devices. Routes created on other planning platforms can also be imported into the BMW Cloud for use on all registered devices.

Seamless Smartphone Integration: The Navigator enables central control of smartphone functions, including media applications like Spotify and telephone functions. It offers volume control for multiple sources and connects with other devices, such as rider and passenger helmets and BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Smartglasses, via Bluetooth. Users can access their smartphone contacts directly on the Navigator for phone and routing purposes.

The BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator aims to enhance the navigation experience for riders while seamlessly integrating with their motorcycles and other devices.

The new BMW Motorrad ConnectedRide Navigator is available as of now and simply needs to be clicked into the holder of the navigation preparation and locked with the motorcycle key.
