The best value for your money
By (I am a Writer) on Jul 25, 2020I've had a 2001 Harley Davidson 1200 Sportster for several years and been thinking of upgrading to the bigger 107 Harley Davidson like the super glide. Well, I stopped in to talk to my mechanic who's very knowledgeable about all the bikes on the market, I asked him, which bike would you recommend ... as I want a super glide Size Harley, he said , have the greatest value bike out there. Showed me the Yamaha 1700road Star. Mint condition black with the touring package vans & Hines super loud system with a $600 air induction system. I asked how much, he told me His customer passes away and his wife now wants to sell it, and she only wants $3500 for it, told him I'll buy it Right now, which I did . One words I can say about this bike.. AMAZING! This bike out performed the Harleys I almost bought, a 2004 super glide with those same miles 16000 original miles would of cost me $8000 to $9000 more for Less of a bike . Great job the Yamaha for making such a wonderful bike .. ride safe everyone and stay alert !

2005 Midnight Star
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 02, 2019Purchased February 2006 new. Replaced stock handlebars with Raider bars without the dog bones. Most comfortable riding position with no back stress. Quick release windshield, sissy bar and small luggage rack made it complete. Now 13 years later & over 60,000 it has needed 1 clutch, a rear brake caliper ... & races in the neck. Normal maintenance performed regularly worn parts tires, brake pads all lasted expected lives. Incredibly dependable, great power, still looks terrific. Love this bike

Love my Road Star
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 19, 2019Bought my bike from a friend and it came with K&N air intake and cobra pipes. Rides nice, but need to replace rear shock as it bottoms out with a passenger in corners and pipes then drag on the ground.
Most of my buddies i ride with have Harleys and happy to say power and sound puts most ... of them to shame

My MIDNIGHT
By (I am an Owner) on Mar 30, 2013I bought my 2005 Yamaha Midnight Roadstar used from a co-worker in April of 2011. I gotta tell ya, I love the ride, comfort and power. Me and my wife were looking at a Fatboy Harley. But when I saw the Roadstar at the of $5000.00, I could not resist, I bought. Big differance in price for a Fatboy ... at $15 to18,000.00. And I got a lot of bike for $5000.00. I'm going to upload a picture as it looked the day I bought it with K&N intake and Vanse & Hines long necks exhaust. I am picking it up in a week with my new add ons. I will upload a current picture then. It's going to be a good year for riding. Be safe everyone.

Excellence
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 14, 2010This cruiser is the best. Rides like a dream. Runs strong and fast. New air intake, exhaust, and this bike outruns my buddies and their silly Harleys.
